In the name of Peace
Themed Ride for Peace, 2000 bikers from Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Brunei, and Indonesia came together for a mega bike convoy. This inaugural event was held in conjunction with the 50th Independence Day celebration in Kedah.

Monsoon Madness
Set in the constantly warm and wet equatorial zones, Malaysia may seem free from seasons but in actuality, the mighty Monsoon winds from China do reach this part of the region. The one from China has a more significant effect, especially to the east coast states of the peninsula, and it's called the Northeast Monsoon, traditionally starting from December and on through to March (nowadays its seems to start from as early as mid-September).

Unique traditions still live

Negeri Sembilan always has that stab of familiarity whenever you are in the state, as 14th century old tradition is still practised amidst growing modernity.
