Tiger Tiger Burning Bright
Dodging falling trees, stinging insects, bloodthirsty leeches and other jungle terrors, wildlife biologist Dr Kae Kawanishi spent 34 months studying the 'Malay tiger' in Taman Negara. Her findings suggest the tiger population there is near the carrying capacity of the ecosystem, which itself appears to be in good health.
